Real-Time Monitoring
See everything. Be informed.
At every site where an Astaro product is used, activity and information is gathered that administrators rely on. Rather than view and work with this data individually, the Astaro Command Center is the central point where you can see information on connected devices. Locations are viewable in many ways; from a card-style summary to an interactive world map. The licenses which power your protection are centrally viewable as well so you have plenty of notice when it is renewal time.
Description & Screenshots
Starting with the initial login the administrator is presented with statistics of all sites which talk to the Astaro Command Center. With a quick glance they can obtain live indicators for dozens of areas like current threat levels, usages of CPU and RAM and if the site is experiencing connectivity trouble to the Astaro Command Center due to an Internet outage or other networking problem. Sections of the Astaro Command Center are dedicated to specific areas of reporting such as the resources area which shows the information on the installed hard disks and the current status and throughput of every configured interface. The Astaro Command Center can even alert you when a device is acting differently than it has in the past.
Another feature of the Astaro Command Center’s central monitoring is its ability to develop over time an understanding of what is a normal operation of the devices talking to it. This baseline can be used as a basis for alerting and notifications. Administrators save time by not having to tediously set these types of parameters manually. This technology is also used for informing on the trends of devices over time, so you can see information such as recently there has been 15% less spyware noticed at Branch office #12.

Platforms
The Astaro Command Center is available
on your choice of three platforms. The software can be run
on a dedicated, Intel-compatible PC of your choice, or as a
Virtual Machine within a VMware environment like VMware
Player or VMware ESX. If you prefer an official Astaro
platform, we offer four dedicated hardware appliance models
to choose from depending on the amount of devices you wish
to manage. Regardless of which one of our available ways you
choose to run ACC, the features and functionality are
identical.
Minimum Hardware Requirements
- Intel-compatible CPU @ 1.6Ghz
- 1 GB RAM
- 40 GB Hard Disk Drive
- Best performance results are experienced when using hardware specifications at or beyond Intel Dual/Quad-Core CPUs @2GHz+, and 2GB+ of memory. Hardware requirements (including WAN bandwidth for the location hosting the ACC Server) will increase depending on the number of devices being managed.
