Astaro Command Center
Manage all your security products from a single location.
Astaro
Command Center is a central management application which enables
users to see and work with all Astaro products through a single
log in. From instant hardware reports to security trend information,
monitoring and managing all devices becomes an efficient and
effective process. With just a few simple steps, IPSec VPN tunnels
can be established and policies can be deployed to many installations.

Features:
Real-Time Monitoring
At every
site where an Astaro product is used, activity and information
is gathered that administrators rely on. Rather than
view and work with this data individually, the Astaro
Command Center is the central point where you can see
information on connected devices. Learn More.
Site-to-Site VPN Configuration
No longer does making a VPN tunnel between two or
more sites require an “information swap” by logging
into each device and configuring parameters from the
opposite end. Astaro Command Center makes building VPN
tunnels easy, even if dozens of devices need to be connected. Learn More.
Device Maintenance
The Astaro
Command Center lets you take central control over updating
your security infrastructure. Using the same technology
as our WebAdmin, you can see what firmware version your
installations are running and update them all simultaneously. Learn More.
Inventory Management
Inventory
management allows the review of everything connected
to the Astaro Command Center. Showing what types of
devices are currently being managed, along with hardware
specifications like number of processors and amount
of memory, administrators can keep track of what their
security infrastructure currently consists of. Learn More.
Access Management
Remove the
need to remember complex site passwords and login information.
Using encrypted sessions, you can dive directly into
a device’s WebAdmin from within the Astaro Command Center
without needing to re-authenticate. Learn More.
Global Definitions
Avoid redundant
tasks with Global Definitions. You can use to use the
Astaro Command Center to centrally define objects and
then push them out to your installations, placing objects
directly in the target device inventory, ready to be
used for building configuration. Learn More
Aggregated Reporting
Astaro
Command Center has a central reporting engine which
allows you to select and compile over 20 reports individually
or combined across multiple installations. This can
let you know the most-accessed site in a company for
a month, or the total amount of bandwidth transferred
by three locations so far this week. Learn More.
Technical Information:
The
Astaro Command Center is available on your choice of
three platforms. The software can be run on a dedicated,
Intel-compatible PC of your choice, or as a Virtual
Machine within a VMware environment like VMware Player
or VMware ESX. Both, the software and virtual appliances
are available as free full versions.
If you prefer an official Astaro platform, we offer four dedicated appliance models to choose from depending on the amount of devices you wish to manage. Regardless of which one of our available ways you choose to run ACC, the features and functionality are identical.
Minimum Hardware Requirements
- Intel-compatible CPU @ 1.6Ghz
- 1 GB RAM
- 40 GB Hard Disk Drive
- Best performance results are experienced when using hardware specifications at or beyond Intel Dual/Quad-Core CPUs @2GHz+, and 2GB+ of memory. Hardware requirements (including WAN bandwidth for the location hosting the ACC Server) will increase depending on the number of devices being managed.
Deployment Scenarios:
A) Deploy Astaro Command Center at the corporate headquarter location to distribute management tasks among regions or departments.
B) Deploy Astaro Command Center in MSP environments to offer managed service with role-based multi-client access.
